I brought in a used rifle that I had just bought and asked the gunsmith to look it over, let me know his opinion and give it a thorough cleaning. The work done on the 300 Win Mag was top-notch and the feedback was honest and very appreciated. Everyone that I've dealt with at Reno Guns & Range has been pleasant, knowledgeable and great to work with. I can't recommend them enough!

Reno Guns and Range is hands down the best shooting range I’ve ever visited! 5 stars all the way! From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’re among friends. Everyone is on a first name basis, creating such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Mark, the manager, is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable and kind, always going out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. As a first-time shooter, I signed up for two private lessons, and they were phenomenal. My instructor, a former law enforcement officer, really knew his shit and broke everything down in a way that was easy to understand and super effective. I left each session feeling way more confident in my abilities and excited to keep improving. Now, my husband and I are thrilled to be getting memberships so we can make this our go-to spot. If you’re looking for a top-notch range with amazing people, this is it. Stay safe!

Best privately owned range I’ve ever been to, hands down. Clean, well-maintained facility; friendly, helpful staff; and actual concern for safety. Range safety officers were constantly present. Very professionally run. And the chance to shoot iconic WWII weapons? A perfect way to cap off some pistol time. I’m looking forward to my next visit in October.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently took the Intro to Handgun class at Reno Guns & Range with Daniel Smith, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll be honest—I’m not a gun person and I was a little nervous going in. But Daniel immediately put me at ease. As a Marine and martial arts expert, he brings incredible knowledge and discipline to the class, but what really stood out was his kindness and patience. He created a comfortable environment where no question was too small (or too “dumb”) to ask. His advice was practical, his teaching style was approachable, and he made sure everyone felt safe and confident throughout the process. If you’re hesitant about firearms or just looking for a solid foundation, this is the perfect class. Daniel’s professionalism and respectful approach made what could have been intimidating into a really positive learning experience.

My worst experience at a range so far. I am still fairly new to shooting, but this environment was incredibly hostile. The staff member assisting me with rentals was unfriendly and not helpful at all in choosing or recommending which firearms to rent or how much ammo. At the range itself, the 10/22 I rented was abysmal. The weapon would misfeed every magazine, sometimes multiple times in row. In 100 rounds, I jammed 14 times. The weapon's sighting was completely off, going way left and down. (I wish I had taken a photo of the grouping) Fortunately, the AK-style rifle only jammed once and that was due to me loading the magazine wrong. The gun was accurate and I have no complaints from it. I understand this business recommends group classes and instruction to beginners for them to learn, but regardless, such an uncomfortable environment only pushes new people like me away from ever trying to become experienced with firearms.

Ethan and all of the staff were great. Had 10 people with me in the 4 lane rental room. Nothing but kind words for everyone who works here. Thank you all!

It was my first time shooting guns and I was absolutely petrified. I barely had shot my gun until Sierra came in and she was the only other girl there with me. She’s a firearm instructor and definitely gave me not only the proper technique and instruction but also the self confidence to even try out my boyfriends M-4. Will definitely be back thank you:)
