Very friendly staff! Outdoor range up against a steep, high, rocky mountain side with targets all up the side to 1000 yards!!! A few miles from Pyramid Lake. Nice views of a glider airport in distance. Shade if you like or shooting in the sun to get some distance from all the high powered shooting there. Other ranges for competitive shooting. I love outdoor shooting so I’m coming back!

A complete novice and had zero expectations when I walked into the property for a 1-1 lesson with Makala. She was welcoming, kind and so much fun! Makala is a passionate and engaging educator who knows her trade but doesn’t talk over you. She educates at a level anyone can understand and meets you where you are at. On the range, Makala was patient with me and made me feel comfortable and confident. Tyson had a similar approach and also made me feel confident in what I was doing. They both told me why to do or not do certain things and that helped me learn the skills. I can’t recommend Makala, Tyson and the Regional Shooting Facility enough! Definitely a 10/10 experience! I will be back!

My favorite range near Reno. Opportunities for prone and bench firing at paper within 300 yards or steels further than you can hit.

Cool place. First time there. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Range Cadre top notch. Recognized we hadn't been there before. Gave us a quick review on the common rules and range operations. First class range. We'll be back.
