Wow just read Dudeman review all 12 reviews. I'm going to join your club ASAP. Haven't been there yet ,but it's certain the best in Dane county, unless you have enough room at the farm to shoot. You have what looks like a nice little club house and good ranges. See you soon!

Great people and a nice skeet range

I remember shooting trap out there as a kid growing up in Sun Prairie. My friend and I stupidly caught a skunk out there using a Hav-A-Heart trap. No easy way to release the critter without being sprayed, so we humanely dispatched the varmit with a .22 to the head. Lesson learned and good times were had by all, except the skunk.

It's okay. Went to sight in my AR. Was surprised the rifle range was sit only. Loses a star for that in my opinion. Was hoping for a little more like the pistol range where it's sit or stand. Nice enough staff. It's staffed by volunteers. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Sometimes the RSO's can be a little overbearing with trying to help (sort of ate into my shooting time a bit) and they were trying to help when they didn't even know what they were doing. The RSO suggested a screwdriver to adjust the sight... All you do is turn a knob. And after an hour they were right where i had them anyways. Why bother helping if you don't know what's up yourself? They're very nice n mean well. Overall not a bad place.. Edit: I appreciate the response. It wasn't a scope it was just a carry handle iron sight. Next time I might just mention politely that thanks but no thanks I think I got it. Lol. Can't wait to come back next spring!
