Colfax Sportsmen's Club

This is a nice range. They allow pistol and rifle out to 300 yards. They ask for a $5 donation each time you use the range. The people there are nice and I feel safe while I'm there.

I went here during their public shooting time. The facility is very nice, the shooting distances vary from like 10-200 yards, they had steel gongs already set up, and the RSO was pleasant and great to talk guns with. However, I don't really like the idea of having range safety officers and unnecessary rules because it gives it that "stuffy" feeling and additionally you can only shoot from the shelter during this time which basically means benched shooting only down your specific lane because standing upright and shooting isn't that comfortable with there set up and my height. I get that they don't want room temperature IQ knuckle draggers ND'ing into their friends foot but I am more of a fan of "you are your own RSO so be careful". I'm still impressed with their set up and I here they run a lot of shooting events.

Great organization, friendly staff, well organized, concessions available are also great. Just a great place to go spend the day shooting and chatting with everyone.

An awesome shooting range! Can't wait to get back for the next shooting event. Very friendly and helpful sportsman club members. My first multi-stage 3 gun event was a great experience going to be back for other events.

With all the recent upgrades this has become the premier shooting complex in Dunn county. The Colfax club in very active providing quality Steel Challenge, 3 Gun, and USPSA matches, in addition to open trap, and rifle range out to 300yards. This range has it all.
