Kanawha State Forest Shooting Range

I think it’s one of the most beautiful forest in the United States and it’s very peaceful to just walk in there for hours so joyful

I’ve only been there one time i had a good time Just wander if they have a shooting team

Wonderful time in the rain. The road is dicey when it rains. Go by 4X4 for safety.

Excellent shooting range provided by the taxpayers

Road going in is paved but only 1 lane wide. You have to find spots to pass oncoming vehicles. Use at your own risk. Most people who were there have never had any range discipline so be cautious when going down range while the range is “cold”. There were a group that showed up near the end who were trying to buy some “9’s” from other shooters and also handling firearms while people were down range. Stay alert, stay alive.
