The Sportsman Range

Must be authorized to enter a military base to use this range (not open to non-federal civilians). Typical military firing range. And typical military organization with many firing restrictions. E.G. No rapid pistol shooting, no drawing from holster. Left half is pistol and right half is rifle.

Despite what Google says, as of today they are NOT open on Fridays...

Totally low key and low stress environment. The guys who normally run the range “Army Bill” in the office and “Navy Bill” the RSO are great. Don’t be stupid (rapid fire) and they will leave you alone. Be respectful and polite and you will have a great time here. You’ll probably meet a few people as well. Everyone likes to see what people are shooting.

Been coming here for years. It's cheap, you meet cool people and you might learn a thing or two from some one. The staff is always helpful.

First time today and hands down my favorite range! The RSO & staff were outstanding and a joy to be around. It was a fun relaxing time to put in some valuable range time! 10/10 **********

Nice, shaded, friendly staff.

For the price you can’t beat it , good clean outdoor covered bays, nice staff, rifle side out to 300 yards and it’s not pay by the hour 10/10 for me
