Quantico Shooting Club

Awesome place!

QSC is an amazing gem and phenomenal opportunity to practice and improve shooting skills. Both club members and staff are extremey friendly, and safety is always top notch. Outside of being in the military, I don't know of anything comparable where you could have an opportunity to shoot on such world class ranges. (And many thanks to MCB Quantico for allowing the QSC to use their ranges when not being used for military training.)

I used to be a member here but I’ll never join again. In theory, this should be a pretty good range. The problem is that they never have ranges open for members to use. Want to go to church on Sunday morning? They might have a range open but 11:00am is too late to use it. The ranges that are consistently open are always used for shooting matches—news flash: not everyone participates in these events. Some of us just want to practice for hunting season, teach our kids firearm safety, or just shoot some targets. The bottom line is that a range membership is a waste of money if you can’t show up on the weekend and use it. I might as well take that money out in the street and burn it—I’ll get the same value. For people who want to arrange their whole life around QSC, this membership is probably fine. But most regular people should look elsewhere.

Awesome experience. All volunteer staff is safety focused and knowledgeable. Many thanks to range safety officer Kevin for keeping a keen eye on the range and friendly conversation.

Outstanding outdoor ranges, with friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make sure members have a safe and enjoyable experience. They have to jump through all kinds of hoops to make this happen at MCBQ, and they do it with a smile. RSOs are incredibly helpful and patient. If you ask, there’s always someone willing to provide a few pointers and help you improve your shooting. Great community, emphasis on safety the entire time. I’ve met a lot of member RSOs who are just there to shoot that day.
