This place is my go to for FFL transfers and occasional range time. The staff is professional and very quiet compared to most gun shops. You won’t get “gun talk” and opinions pushed on you unless you ask directly. They are quick and efficient for FFL. They provided my CCW class over twenty years ago and likely have been doing so for many more decades. The inside is worn and held together with duct tape, literally, but that is what makes it comforting. It’s not run by some super corporation but a group of hard working staff that have been there forever. They are direct on the rules but not crazy. They don’t stand beside you on the line and critique your stance and all the other crap you encounter at the newer ranges. Check them out! Again, efficient FFL, they have a bunch of guns to rent and they are great with newer shooters and old hats.

Yeah the safety concerns are real. When we first got there I told the staff I was inexperienced (not my first time but I didn't mention that part, just said "I'm a beginner") I was handed a gun and told how to load and fire it. That was THE ENTIRETY of the firearm instructions I was given. No safety instructions, no orientation, no rules of the range, nothing. Not so much as a "hey make sure you never point this at a person, or hey keep it pointed down range" Nothing. No monitors in the range either. On top of that the place is filthy, dark and hot. The only plus was that the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Staff were nice and helpful. Decent selection of rentals and not overly crowded. Old school range vibe, but I felt totally comfortable there. We will definitely be back

For my first time shooting here, it was an experience in itself, although the place could use some love and air conditioning, I enjoyed the experience and will be returning.
