Updating my 5 star review to 1. Been shooting here for two decades without a single issue. The new owner could have avoided all of this if he was up front about his policy, but he wasn’t, and he was extremely arrogant while blaming the customer for a policy that, quite literally, only exists in his head. Absolutely, hands down, a terrible businessman. If he had any sense at all he would have apologized for not clearly explaining things prior to shooting. But see, he didn’t. Watch out for his dynamic pricing model, after we shot our round of 100 he demanded we pay extra for not using a trapper. In short, he wants you to pay extra (a dollar amount made up in his head and not advertised anywhere) for not using a trapper. Yes you heard that right, he wanted us to pay for services not used. We also didn’t use a golf cart so I guess we were lucky we didn’t get billed for that too…He even had enough audacity to claim that he explained this made up policy before we shot, which was a complete lie. After I confronted him on all of this he magically reverted back to the advertised price. A smart businessman would easily see that this entire interaction is not a good look. On a side note, Lafayette Gun Club has an amazing 5 stand, trap, and wobble trap that will cost members $3 per round of 25. You earned your one star review today.

More fun than expected! 1st time shooting.

I always enjoy shooting at Old Forge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good variety of different stations. Good course to walk if you have the time.

We’ve hosted our camp scholarship fundraiser at Old Forge for 4 years now! And every year they are easy to work with. If there are any issues on the course they are quick to address it. Everyone always has a great time on the course and looks forward to coming back!

Justin made this an incredible experience. Calm and helpful it was an absolute blast.
