Fantastic rifle and shotgun range. Make sure it’s season to open. Came back two weeks after going the first time.

CHECK THE PICTURES They have really funky hours. Also, you need to pay for access to use anything on their land. I didn't know that. I just looked this place up and took off lol. Don't be like me and get a warning from local law enforcement for not having a permit and being there outside of posted times. The employees should probably close the gate that says "CLOSED" outside of operating hours lol

We always love going to this range. Glad we have this option nearby. Much prefer having an outdoor range for rifles

16 Dec 2024: I visited the range on Tuesday, and the facility was okay. It was not too busy, and I was able to zero both my rifles. The access roads were rough, though, and it would have been good if I had a truck or SUV.

Nice place to actually sight in at 100 yards, you will need to bring your own everything, targets, cardboard to hold target and a way to hold cardboard to fence.

Arrived on a Wend at 915 and half of the rifle lanes were already used. Been wanting to shoot outdoors for sometime now. Coming from Chesapeake took about 90min. The people there were nice and courteous. Collectively we would “cold” to allow for target swaps and it wasn’t an issue. You need an access pass, hunting, or fishing license, those are the most common. The only problem it was only 3-4 target stands. Unless, you’re zeroing at 100yds, you’d have a problem doing anything closer. So bringing a target stand might be beneficial. Would definitely come back to stretch out the rifles.

First time. I didn't see anyone in charge. Busy but I expected that on a weekend. There were people waiting but didn't see any order or sign up sheet. Don't know who enforces 1 hour limit when range is busy or when or how often it goes "green"

First visit was Saturday, October 26. We showed up around 1pm and all of the lanes were being used. We only waited about 5 minutes before one opened up. There's 10 lanes. The range is run by the shooters. If you need to go cold, just ask. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a great experience.
