The old guy is a grouch, rude, ridicules, and talks down to you. I asked him exactly where I could hang two targets and I did. Then after we started shooting he said one was in the wrong place. So he moved it and we ended up with three paper targets right next to each other. Which is no good when you’re trying to zero your weapon because you don’t know if the shooter next to you is hitting your target or not. Also, they should briefly go over basic range safety before starting to shoot. For those who don’t go to outdoor ranges very often it would be a helpful reminder. It was not a comfortable shooting environment for someone who rarely goes to an outdoor range. Definitely don’t want to go back there.
Great outdoor range where you can shoot from 10-200 yards from the same chair. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, love this place.
Fantastic Experience at the Magnum Sports Range! We absolutely loved our time at this shooting range! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and the instructors were exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us with all the setups. My son was thrilled with the experience! The range itself is open-air and incredibly safe, which gave us great peace of mind. We especially enjoyed the gongs available at 75-200 yards, adding an exciting element to our session. It was a truly exhilarating experience! A big thank you to the Magnum Sports Center for prioritizing safety – it truly shows. We can't wait to come back!
The range is tucked away outside of Sanger and a little hard to find. The owners are friendly and not overbearing. We shot with a great group of people 06/19/21 and had a blast. $15 range fee is good for the day. Limited supplies available. This instantly became my go to for shooting. Range fees have been increased to $20 per person per day. Still an awesome place to spend an afternoon.
This place has friendly staff and a great range. It's the only place I shoot. Thanks for what yall do
This place is amazingly friendly. Took my kids there and they were showing them their guns, letting them shoot them, teaching them things about the different guns and sights. I’d highly recommend this place. It’s bare bones, but people there are amazing.
This place is awesome. Still targets are always freshly painted every day. The range Masters are amazing and helpful .
If I could rate higher I would. Best public range North of Dallas. The old leather neck and Army vet that work there are beyond helpful and really nice. It's not like quail creek with the grumpy range master. $20 to shoot all day and FMJ is fine. Please come support this place so they can stay around for several more years.
