Nardis Gun Club at Alamo Ranch Hours: use company website

Enjoyed myself nice clean atmosphere.

Myself and my 11yr old son visited the gun club as tourists from the uk, We arrived and was greated by a very friendly young lady at the entrance who introduced us to Dave who was running the range, he was friendly, understood that we'd never been on a range before so took his time to explain everything in very simple terms and took extra time to school my son on how to behave and handle a firearm as he was very nervous , he then went on to show us a variety of different weapons and made some very good recommendations as to what we could try! Into the range we went which was very clean and well presented and setup, from here you are on your own but as we found 99% of texans are very friendly people and when we had an issue with one of the weapons jamming they happily helped us out and explained what had happened and how to prevent it! Over all the experience was incredible and I highly recommend you visit ! Although be warned it can get expensive when you want to try out everything on display 😅 perhaps a suggestion for Nardis would be to offer a package of different weapons at a set price for tourists as an experience? Again thank you to nardis for an amazing experience!

Stopped by to zero my gun today for a competition tomorrow. Staff was super nice. Asked for draw from holster clearance had to wait a bit which is totally understandable. RSO came out said go ahead and shoot as I normally would he observed to ensure safe operation from the holster. He waited until I ceased fire and began reloading gave me the go ahead to continue and signed off. Greeted me as I was coming out made sure I was good to go super nice. Will definitely be coming back and getting a membership.

Wide stalls. Large place. Never too busy. Huge selection of stuff to try out. Staff is super friendly and helpful, usually going out of their way. Relaxed atmosphere. maybe too much. Been here a few times and loved the experience. Decided to be a member. Not too sure now. Right after I became a member, brought a friend who had not shot in years to get back to being proficient. Was placed in a stall where to our left was a young couple. Girl videoed herself with iPhone in left hand and pistol the right hand. Bullets going all over the place, the ceiling, MY TARGET, etc. Guy then rapid fired, tilting the pistol sideways gangsta, style mostly missing the target maybe 10 feet away. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Where were the RSOs: Stop, cease fire, etc. Aren't they supposed to be monitoring? I did walk out and report this. But to be honest, it should not have to be me. This was very embarrassing for me because I brought a friend so she could become more proficient and try a variety of pistols. She did not feel comfortable and in hindsight wished she had reported it earlier (I was concentrating on shooting so did not notice the danger next to me until I stepped out of the box) . Not sure if I want to bring my kids here anymore. Hopefully this was an aberration, an labor day outlier where the idiots showed up. UPDATE: Management at the club reached out to me to reassure that my concerns have been addressed. It was very gracious of them to do so.

Julio and Alex were great! First time at any Nardis and my family will be back.
