I purchased a firearm from Guns.com on 8/25/25. It was scheduled for delivery on 8/28/25, but couldn’t be delivered because no one signed. It was rescheduled for 8/29/25. After placing the order, I immediately went to Bullet Trap’s website and filled out their transfer form. On 8/28, when the first delivery failed, I called Bullet Trap and told them my firearm was supposed to be delivered but nobody signed. The guy told me, “Well, we always sign for delivery.” How, when the tracking literally said it couldn’t be delivered because no one was there to sign? On 8/29, the firearm was delivered at 12:39 PM. Cool, I figured they’d call me by Monday, since their website says give them 48 hours and they’ll contact you when it’s ready. Their site also says if your firearm is delivered before 4 PM on Friday, you should be able to pick it up by Tuesday. Tuesday 9/2 I called, and they told me their system was “down.” I know for a fact you can manually call it in, but whatever. Wednesday 9/3 I called again and asked if I could come pick it up. The guy asked, “Did we call you?” I said no, but it was delivered Friday. He looked it up and finally said I could come get it. Unfortunately, I had left my wallet at home, and by the time I could get back, I wouldn’t have made it before closing. Thursday 9/4 I went after work. That’s when I was told they stop doing transfers at 6 PM because they close at 7 PM. Friday 9/5 I went back, and the door was locked, no lights, no open sign so im calling and cLling but no answer. I just decided to go home and while I was home, I was still calling them multiple times. I didnt want to waste gas AGAIN. But I did and I came back a few hours later and this time there were no cars in the lot at all. That’s when I saw a sign on the door that said “closed until further notice, back in operation ASAP.” Saturday 9/6 I called out of curiosity just to see if anyone would answer. They did. I asked if they were still doing transfers, and they told me, “Yes, we do them every day.” In my head im thinking, “how? When yall ghosted any and everybody who had transfers that day.” So I went back to finally pick it up. When I got there, the guy said, “We’re trying to make sure you get your forearm today, Every time I try, the system shuts down.” (not verbatim but close enough) I’m thinking, okay, then call it in manually like every other FFL does when the system has issues. Between the time they signed for my firearm and the time I finally picked it up, I had to call them at least 30 times. Not sure who they guy is who answers the phone but he answers it as if he’s being disturbed. Very non-chalant, but if it was someone playing cat and mouse with his transfer, maybe he’d change his tune. Bottom line: they’re lazy, unprofessional, and unreliable. They held my gun hostage for a whole week, and I will never use Bullet Trap for a transfer again.
Took the Intro to Handguns class today. IT WAS AMAZING! The fact it was just my son, myself and George (the instructor) made it that much better. 1.5 hours in the classroom, very informative and helpful. Then 1.5 hours shooting 5 bullets from 15 different Handguns, even revolvers! It was so invigorating and awesome. George was knowledgeable, patient, kind and encouraging! Who got the 1st Bullseye you ask? IT WAS ME! 😁
Extremely nice and helpful staff. The gun course as well is amazing. My mother and I had George who was incredibly and was very good at getting one on one with you to answer or clarity questions and once on the range, shows you where you can improve. I highly recommend anyone who is new to firearms or uncomfortable, to get one of there classes!
The Staff there was very helpful and the range was one I will return to. A good 1st experience for my G'son.
