I used to like coming here but they placed me in shooting bay B which has no AC or ventilation working currently so not only is it boiling, you’re choking on gunpowder the whole time. Time to find a new range.
Wish they were open when they are supposed to be, Tuesday 6:30 pm.
I had a very disappointing experience at Frisco Gun Club. When I first arrived, the staff told me I could try both a handgun and a rifle. After finishing with the handgun, I was suddenly told I could not use the rifle because of a “new rule” requiring some kind of certification. Strangely, I noticed this same requirement was not enforced for other customers. It felt like once the billing was done, their attitude completely changed. Before payment, everything was friendly and welcoming, but afterward the rules shifted without explanation or fairness. This kind of inconsistent treatment shows poor work ethics and leaves customers feeling misled. If fair and consistent service cannot be provided, then the shop should be upfront from the start rather than changing rules halfway through. Thank you for the support and please close the place before it boycott.
Great facilities and staff. The restaurant is fantastic as well.
Bought from their website thought it was a good deal, but they charge a crazy amount for shipping and credit card fees
I ordered a sliding brace for a pistol on Thursday . It was in my mail on Monday… IN FLORIDA. Rocket fast shipping and a price 1/2 the other online dealers. That’s Texas sized customer service !
If you like target carriers that don't work, dark bays, and beginner and novice shooters flagging you without a range safety officer entering the range one single time... This is the place for you! Point your barrel at whoever you want, just don't rapid fire! Edit: I'd like to add that I gave them one more shot, and yet again, for the THIRD time in a row at FGC, the target carrier broke. The guy at the counter gave me money money back since I only shot about 3 rounds before the carrier ran itself to the end of the range and wouldn't come back. Ironically, neither will I.
I was a long-time Platinum member at Frisco Gun Club and never had issues before… the staff used to be friendly and I could always bring my own brass bullets when renting. On my recent visit, I was suddenly told I couldn’t use my own ammo unless I bought theirs (which is overpriced). When I asked for clarification, the manager claimed this was always their policy, which isn’t true based on my nearly year of my experience there. Policies can change, but being lied to was the last straw. I canceled my membership and won’t be returning.
Great Staff!
