Shoot Smart - Alliance

I've been shooting for 40+ years and took the class with my wife to help her learn to shoot. She absolutely loved the class, and Paul took time with her on the range to correct issues she was having. She instantly improved her groupings 100% and was thrilled. I thought I was a good shot all these years, but I learned that my grip was wrong. Once I used the correct grip, I improved my own groupings by 20 %. This is a great class for beginners and seasoned shooters both. I highly recommend it.

Got my red dot installed by the gunsmith and it came loose within a few days, payed 65$ to get it installed and zeroed and had issues with the sight because it wasn’t torqued down fully. Had to fix it myself 👎🏾 not coming here again

I've been twice to this place. They have been very friendly both times and very accommodating. If you are prior military they do discounts, which is nice.

1 month ago I had not held or shot a gun! I was scared of guns! I really wanted to learn gun safety, how to shoot and get my LTC so I paid for a package at SS in Alliance. I called to ask questions, I was so nervous to take the courses I almost cancelled. Thankful that Kaila answered that call and she went above and beyond detailing all the information I would need for the classes. She scheduled my classes and answered all my questions, I had a lot! She boosted my confidence and let me know that Paul would be my instructor for 2 classes and that he was great! I completed the New Shooter and Trouble Shooting classes with Paul. Kaila was right, he was great and I shot a gun for the first time (picture below)!! Yesterday I took the LTC class (7 hours) with Thuong and I was engaged the entire class. He is a great instructor and I passed! I’ve done a full 180 on my thoughts and fear of guns. Take the classes if you feel the way I did, you won’t regret it and they are worth the investment. I’m ready to go back and practice more shooting. Thank you Team SS - Alliance, all of you were great!

So much fun!

Got a new Ruger for my birthday and went to Shoot Smart to test it out. I love that you can go online and get on waiting list, however there was no wait when we got there (but within minutes there was a line!). The staff is great and very helpful and we ended up getting a family membership. I feel like that will get us (me) to go on a regular basis and give me the accountability to build the skills & knowledge I need. While there I saw a young man (he is 8) with his parents and then another dad came in with his 3 daughters and we plan to bring our grandsons as well to teach them all about gun safety and security. So the facility is very family friendly! While there I noticed a couple of men who seemed to be giving instructions and asked if they were doing a class, but they were not - however offered to help me and gave me som great tips. This was only my second time here, but like the first time it just is a very easy and positive experience with no judgement and people wanting to offer assistance when/if needed. I will also be signing up for the LTC class before end of month! (It’s on special until end of Aug!!)

Hands down, top range and my favorite place to shoot. Visited in July 2025. Shoot Smart is very well organized, excellent staff knowledge and attitudes, clean, highly competitive range and ammo pricing, and great lanes, especially the suites. Great rental selection and program too. [I haven’t worked with a gunsmith yet.] Special shout out to the *Sheri* who helped me extensively with recommendations for my duty holster, concealment apparel and handgun options!! She genuinely loves to help people and goes above and beyond. She attentively spent time talking with me more than once and emailing me some links. Her help was invaluable, she’s very professional and knowledgeable, and she is truly a pleasure to talk with - I seek her out anytime I go. My private lesson with Andrew was a pivotal level up in my personal defense. He’s highly knowledgeable and skilled, patient and thorough. He was able to quickly resolve a couple questions I had been wrestling with and give me solid practice and direction to continue improving my performance. I absolutely intend to sign up again next time I’m in town. Thanks, Andrew!
