Awesome place. We are on vacation from Australia and are not overly comfortable with using firearms. Our guide/instructor was former military (US Navy) and made us feel very safe with supervision, support and guidance.

Four of us visited here yesterday, first time for us all. Great experience and Jamey made it even better. He was so patient with us and explained everything in a calm manner.

This is probably the cleanest, most friendly indoor range in the Austin area. A lot of ranges have range officers that are basically emotionally stunted men lacking basic manners, or the ability to speak under 120 decibels. Here, I've found they leave you alone for the most part as long as you're practicing safe target shooting and keeping things on paper. You can really practice and increase your shooting skills at this place. They have a great gun shop, and even a collector's shop that has expansive amounts of historical firearms to browse and even buy. One of the best shops of this type in Austin. When it comes to indoor ranges, this place is my go-to. It does get busy on the weekends, so make sure to get their early.

The facility is nice and unlike other facilities the ventilation works. However the range safety officers are abysmal. I’ve been harassed twice now coming to this location. The first was one RSO who was constantly harassing me over ammo for my Garand. All of which was new production with soft points none of which was steel core as he claimed. He went as far as telling the front desk I was using steel core in an attempt to start a problem. To which I gladly provided the boxes of ammo to show they were all soft points. The treated the situation as unserious as possible and the RSO got off without any warning. The second time occurred 9/22/25 the RSO by the name of “Blair” (unsure if that’s his real name as the staff weren’t willing to provide it). Accused my father of doing a 180 and pointing a loaded firearm at him. When we asked to check the cameras and prove the version I saw of my father having the firearm down range at all times that was unloaded. They stonewalled us and gave the typical our manager isn’t in right now. This place is convenient but that’s about where the positives end. Even though it’s far I recommend reveille peak over this place at least their the RSO don’t power trip.
