Person at the front was very nice and helpful but the instructor acted like I was an idiot for asking for some instructions
Came here yesterday with some friends & had a great time! They have a great choice of rentals. We got to try a desert eagle and a P90. Prices are reasonable. They had fun targets. Will definitely be back!
I went to the range for some shooting as a birthday surprise. I called ahead and was told there was no need for a reservation. However, when we arrived, the front desk assistant was unfriendly, and we were told there were no available lanes (some are unavailable on Sundays) and that the wait time would be an hour. We left disappointed. The lines are long, the wait times are terrible, and the customer service is poor.
Decided to try this place out because I wanted to rent and I have my own gun too. Another local range charges ridiculous prices when you bring your own guns. I’ve been to a few ranges and the pricing was definitely lower than most. I’m not sure why all the complaints in other reviews on price seems like those people have never been to a regular gun range before. I’m glad I gave this place a chance. They have a good selection of rentals. I think knowing what I wanted to rent in advance and doing their waiver on their website saved me time. It’s great for anyone who is already into guns and doesn’t want the person on the range breathing down your neck. Seemed like staff was helpful to those who were new on the range from what I saw while I was there. I didn’t ask for help though.
Enjoyed my time shooting a weapon for the first time here, the person overseeing the lanes was very helpful and since we were complete beginners he let us know if we were following etiquette properly. Shot 16/20 for the first time ever, not quite bad
See u guys in 2 weeks had mad fun shooting at the range for the first time
Front counter clerk was thoroughly unenthusiastic about new customers. Seems bored at his job. Their AR-15 jammed and misfed quite a bit. Took my teenage son for his second outing at a range. He's a novice, I'm a beginner, but had to repeatedly ask for assistance despite completing waivers that made it clear we didn't have much experience. Very pricey for all kinds of different charges. Won't be returning. Had a very positive experience at Tommy Gun before. Longer drive but much more customer friendly. Also, an out of state license doesn't mean we're not locals. I have PA carry license and firearms at home. I wanted a more experienced person guiding my son through his initial experiences with other types of guns for safety reasons. Fortunately, he's not turned off to guns, but as stated, we'll go elsewhere to try out different guns in the future. Live and learn.
