I haven't been to the club or its ranges since I moved north in late 1993. I am delighted to see it's still open for the recreation of shooting sports & practice. I'm proud to have served as a past treasurer and trap chair. I still have a hat with the club patch (that I designed for the club while at a board of governors mtg.) Along with members as Art Kruger, Norm Solotruk, & Joe Miller, we started improvements soon after our 'noise' lawsuit was successfully ruled in our favor. I believe it was Norm who was posted by roadside outside the entrance with a decibel reader. I & others fired rounds from various handguns, shotguns & rifles which all fell under noise tolerances, opposed to cars going by. Along with good testimony & facts the court threw out the suit against the club. (Trust me, the noise was not the issue for the suit in the first place) I was there for the first covered firing house on the lower range. Now I see auto return target set ups & a new shooting house. We had some pleasant Christmas parties back in the days. In retrospect and with Jacobsburg just down the road, I am surprised we never had muzzle loaders joined up. For myself, I was part of the trap & pistol teams. Much older now, I enjoy my .54 cal flintlock. My thanks to all who keep this club afoot. Many people like the idea of an easy day out at the range but put little thought to the men & women who put a lot of time & sweat into keeping it safe & usable. Never hurts to say thanks to an officer of the club. It's something officers rarely ever hear. ex-member BRCV R&G Club

Great club with even better camaraderie amongst its members. Every member must complete a safety course to ensure a safe and effective gun club. Multiple events year round for members
