Bob and the crew at LWTA are 5 star instructors. I’ve been taking courses at their excellent facility since 1997 (still coming back even though it's a 6 hour drive now since we moved again), I learned something new in every class, even when I've taken the course over half a dozen times (hello, Tactical Pistol 201). My family and I are looking forward to doing one together soon. We're just arguing over which one...
I have trained with Bob & LWTA for years now. The experience has always been tip top. The instruction, Cadre, material, facilities and fellow students have all been a pleasure to train with. I have trained with other outfits and there is a clear advantage to trusting LWTA with your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
Fantastic trainer and good indoor range
I've enjoyed dealing with Bob for a long time, now. Very knowledgeable and the 101/201/301 training is excellent!!
Growing up around firearms I was skeptical as to weather i would get much out of this. I learned how little I really knew. It was very much worth doing.
Dealing with Bob for decades knows his stuff. Helped me pick out some nice pieces.
LWTA is the absolute best & affordable firearms training that I have ever experienced (and I have attended many firearms training from other instructors).
I have known Bob for over 40 years, his knowledge of firearms, his training techniques are the best. I received my 235 certification and 4 recerts at his shop. He takes his training very seriously, if you make a mistake he calls you out and then shows you how to fix it. Only shop I go to.
LWTA is, quite simply, the best. I’ve trained at a lot of places with a lot of instructors and the people here are great. They are, first and foremost, very safety-conscious and do not take any risks amor allow unsafe people to continue training! They have incredible real-world experience and know both firearms and the legal side of firearm usage very well. Probably one of the only things I miss about no longer living in the Erie area is LWTA and the great people who run it. From introductory classes to highly skilled classes, all of them are top flight!
LWTA's training is hands down the absolute best I've taken from any training institution. The facility is excellent, the instructors are highly skilled and knowledgeable, and the content is top notch. I believe I've taken 15 or more classes with LWTA, even though I have had to travel 4 to 6 hours to get there. Every class has left me with stronger skills and a better understanding of pistol and rifle tactics and marksmanship. Absolutely recommend.
