Tobyhanna State Game Lands Shooting Range

Remember that a permit is required to use the range. You can buy it in Walmart nearby for $32 and it will be valid for one year. You can bring one guest with you. Also, check if the range is open before you go at the Pennsylvania Game Commission website because it might be closed for maintenance or renovation.

Range was clean and decent. All shooters were considerate and worked well with each other.

Outdoor range that allow you to shoot anything you have. Just range your own supplies including target and tape.

Rifle and pistol ranges are both nice and well kept. It would be cooler if people would remove all the paper from their targets instead of ripping off most of it and leaving the parts that stuck, but wishful thinking. The times I have been there all the people have been generally courteous and respectful of other shooters. Nice they added roofing over the shooting bays!
