⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am compelled to share this OUTSTANDING review about Range Manager/Firearms Instructor Mr. Craig Doughty of Target Shooting Solutions (TSS), Avondale, PA. As a retired Delaware law enforcement supervisor, I understand the importance of weapons safety, and I would not give such praise if I felt otherwise. I had not touched a semiautomatic handgun since my 2004 retirement. Now, as a senior citizen, I had an awesome experience with Mr. Doughty today at TSS. He made me feel comfortable, confident, and left me with a very positive outcome. If you are looking for outstanding training, knowledgeable instruction, and a safe, professional range experience, I HIGHLY recommend TSS. The staff are patient, approachable, and always emphasize safety. Mr. Doughty—thank you for an excellent experience and those special moments. I was a first time shooter and my instructor was Ray Holcolmb. He was so calm and thorough with me. At the end I was comfortable and pretty relaxed. He is definitely a great instructor. I will be back soon.

Took a friend to shop for a conceal carry handgun. No one said hello or asked if we could be helped. Went over to a desk with 3 men and the manager and had to ask the guy to wait on us. After we were at the handguns waiting for someone to help us 10 minutes. The young man that waited on us, was arrogant and acting like he would rather chew glass than help us out. The worst salesman experience I have had in a long time. Didn't ask questions or show any type of expertise as to what we were looking at, nor seemed to care. In my 57 yrs I have never seen such a rude and arrogant salesman, and I worked in automotive dealers my whole life! Never have I been so bent about such an interaction, but we are talking about instruments that if not used properly can harm you, and this guy did not even care.

I also notice how other reviews mention James P. I find it funny my father and I felt it was weird how close he got to us and another user noted this as well. Seems like a concerning habit here. I once would have given this place 5 stars. After a recent visit a few days ago, my father and were there for less then 10 minutes before their range office James approached and asked me what my relationship to my father was. After informing him I was with my father James insuniated that was weird we were related because we had different last names. (completely crossing many lines consider appropriate if you ask me) then the Manager proceeded to tell me he was "sorry for how I thought I was treated". I would have come back and given them a second chance if the manager had not been acted like his range officer was justified in acting like that to a customer. I have been coming here for years. I cannot give my money nor recommend anyone I know spend their money with a place that will not take accountability for their employee's actions or lack thereof and ensure their customers are treated appropriately and feel comfortable while at their range.
