Hello First time pistol user, I booked sometime for a private instruction. The instructor talked in layman terms, he was patient and he guided me in shooting, aiming, breathing. I was impressed I hit the target every time. Through his skill and patience I gained a lot of confidence in my ability to aim, breath and hit the target with decent groupings. I will be going back for more classes and practice shooting to develop my skills and keep my confidence up. Unfortunately I'm not good with names for my instructor. He did say he only started about 3 months ago. I added my first target not too bad
We brought our whole work team in for a fun experience—and it exceeded expectations! The simulator training was a highlight, and both instructors were absolutely fantastic: knowledgeable, engaging, and supportive throughout. Not only did we have a blast, but we also walked away with valuable insights and skills. Several team members are already talking about going back!
Excellent facility | Excellent instructors (Jeremy) My husband has been here a few times to use their shooting range, but this was my first time coming here to watch my husband use their simulators. I originally booked a 30-minute session for the Threat Alley simulator ($45). I didn't know what to book for my husband because he had never done anything like this before, but I wanted to get him involved in something since this place offers state-of-the-art training. I'm so glad I did. Jeremy was our instructor. He was formerly a member of a SWAT team, so he has plenty of experience. He offered excellent critique and guidance, walking my husband through the session step by step. He even gave us an extra 20 minutes and let us use the 300-degree Threat Arena - WOW! He provided my husband with excellent scenarios, even the ones intended for two people. I highly recommend Jeremy and hope we have the opportunity to work with him again next time. He's very knowledgeable, friendly, and an excellent instructor here. The simulator experience really makes you appreciate what military and law enforcement have to do. The Threat Alley simulator is a single-screen application that lets users practice practical threat scenarios, such as being robbed in a parking lot after work. It also presents other scenarios that prompt you to reconsider how you would handle the situation if it were to actually happen. Those scenarios, when the threat isn't directly interacting with you, can get tricky. For instance, how do you handle the threat if they have a hostage? The 300-degree Threat Arena is pretty impressive! It's best used with another person or two, but my husband did well for one person. Overall, I recommend these simulators for individuals seeking to train or simply enjoy themselves. Photos are allowed only in the simulators. Originally, I booked for $45 and ended up getting an extra 20 minutes and invaluable advice for the price of $55. So worth it! This place is popular and offers a variety of packages. Great staff. I'm so glad this place is here. We plan to be back!
We came for team building and it did not disappoint. Ron our instructor was very knowledgeable and made us feel much safer to handle a threat when needed. Thanks Ron. Service pro dryworx team!
I took my adult daughter and her boyfriend to Threat Dynamics to use the simulator on 8/30/25. Jeremy was our facilitator. I have over 30 years of law enforcement operational and training experience. Jeremy was a pleasure to work with; he was present and connected with my two young adults during the entire session. Jeremy went into great detail regarding firearm safety, proper firearm manipulation and mindset. Jeremy debriefed each scenario in detail and emphasized the positives and negatives. My daughter and her boyfriend had a great time and learned a great deal thanks to Jeremy. My daughter’s boyfriend told me the experience was better than he expected. I would give Jeremy a 5 out of 5. Please give him his bonus; he earned it! In fact, Jeremy deserves a raise.
What a great experience! For background, I am a complete novice/beginner when it comes to guns. I'd never even held one in my hand, much less shot one. So needless to say, I felt very overwhelmed / intimidated by the prospect of walking into a gun store/range and getting shooting lessons. But I set up an appointment with Threat Dynamics for a 90m private instructor session and it was terrific! I walked in, and was introduced to Jeremy, who would be my instructor. He was very friendly and had me first go to a tablet and watch a short instructional/safety video and fill out some waivers. Then he asked which guns I'd be interested in trying out, and we went to a classroom where he thoroughly explained everything about it, from loading/reloading/unloading a gun, to shooting basics, to gun range etiquette. Then we went to a simulator shooting range where I could get my feet wet shooting simulator guns (which are basically 'real' guns only they shoot CO2 and a computer keeps track of where they're shot based on lasers). After I felt comfortable with that, it was off to the real live range. There, Jeremy told me exactly what to do and how to shoot the gun live at paper targets. It was very intense at first, shooting my own gun but also listening to others at the range shooting their guns, but after the first few shots, I started to really get the hang of it. I'm now very comfortable handling a gun, and am planning on purchasing one in the near future. Not sure if I'll purchase it at Threat Dynamics, but I may not, only because there are other gun stores much closer to where I live. So anyway, that was that. I would highly recommend Threat Dynamics and Jeremy to any novice (or actually, any level) shooter who wants to learn to shoot or hone their skills. The only other thing to note is that the prices they list on the website for their private instruction are for the instruction ONLY. All other rentals of guns, ammo, shooting lane time, targets, etc. you must pay for in addition to the private instruction fee. I already knew this going in, so it wasn't an issue, but some of you may not, so keep that in mind.
Always love coming here! My friend and I come for the ITS about half the time. Though kind of disappointed this last time they no longer offer the shock belts in the 320 degree sim. That really made the experience extra special! Please bring them back!!!!!
Not the best experience. Went in for the mini virtual simulation. Our instructor was intense to say the least. Our party included a young teen who was learning and our instructor pretty much lost his temper with him. He was berating and raising his voice which made our teen even more nervous and affected how he was handling the gun. I tried my best to offer supportive words but definitely felt the reaction of the instructor was unprofessional. More patience goes a long way especially when it comes to young people. Turned an introductory learning experience into something awkward and uncomfortable. Would likely not return.
Had a weird experience at threat I met with Ryan I’m pretty sure that was his name a few weeks ago. I came just to shoot my gun with my friend and he was very pushy on training and told me about the VR that isn’t working so why even waste my time. The rest of the staff was very nice to us but I didn’t need to feel like I had to buy a package or what felt like a credit card being shoved down my throat. I don’t understand why being a girl makes others feel like they can’t cheat us out of our time.
