Beaver Dam Rock Pit

This place is crazy. Its a bunch of random with every possible kind of gun, with no supervision and questionable training. People standing on the side of the road shooting bottles and trees, it was not a very safe place.

It’s kind of wild — nobody seems to care about it. There’s no safety, no cameras, no water, and the place is very small. It’s not even suitable for 5 people.”

Fun place to shoot. I always enjoy coming up here because it's free. Just be safety conscious of those around you and say "cease fire" when you go into the pit area to set up your targets and give others the same courtesy when they set up theirs. All in all not a bad place but sometimes there is quite a bit of leftover brass and shotgun shells. Please be respectful of the environment and clean up after yourselves so we can all continue to enjoy this place.

Seems like a nice place, although I forgot my mags so I decided to help a group of very kindhearted ladies clean up the range. Seriously though, if you want this place to stay open to the public CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELVES. Also, please be aware there's no cell service out here so don't go by yourself because if you get badly injured nobody is coming to save you and the hospital is almost an hour away by car.
