Longshot Ranch

This is a private gun range, so reservations or memberships are required. The range has all metal targets, a great number of them. Since they are all metal gong targets, there is no need to be down range at all, only scopes to watch the shots hit & ring the gong. Since you can shoot targets out to 1000 yards, he does have spotting scopes available.There are so many targets to shoot, so fun. The owner told us all about the range & other options to fill a good day. He is looking to install covers for more comfortable shooting sometime soon. Try this range soon. You will love it, & meet the owner. He's great.

This is a Veteran/Family owned 1000 yard range and it’s simply fantastic. Not sure if you’ll find a more accommodating or nicer group of people. The range has several dozen steel targets of various sizes/shapes scattered at distances from 100 to 1000 yards. The targets have ranges marked. There are 25 yard and 100 yard paper target bays to confirm zero, which came in handy when my scope mount became loose… as always my tightening tool was left home so I had to ask for assistance. Within a few minutes the range owner had me back in business. Each firing location has beautiful firing tables. I could only hit the buffalo target at 800 - so now I need to return to get that mountain lion at 1000!
