My family and I stopped here while on vacation and the staff is absolutely amazing!! I own small businesses in Michigan and I have to say these guys are truly special! The owner personally greeted us immediately and Jose’ took us on the range to try guns and shared his passion and knowledge with us. Lots of stores can sell you a gun but these guys are different. Stop in and see for yourself. I will order my next gun all the way from MI because the staff at Barrett’s is first class. Keep doing exactly what you are doing guys nice work!

Justin runs a very nice shop. Great counter help and had everything I needed from ammo to suppressors. Nice short drive from the metroplex to Durant!!!

Have a Ruger 22/45 MK 3 ,I took apart and couldn't get it back together, the gunsmith put it back together

Terrible customer service from counter associates. Manager seemed ok but always get an attitude from the same associate every time. No help offered just how wrong you are for what you have bought. DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR HELP! spend the time to go to a better customer service business. Take the time to drive into Sherman to an actual helpful place. Edit: Left Barretts, drove to Sherman and got actual help and service. Solved the problem I had and did so smiling all while offering help and sound information. It's amazing to me that further out businesses think that since they are the only option close they can treat their customers poorly. Service is worth the drive!

Best customer service I’ve ever had at a gun shop. Justin, Jose and Steve are always ready to help with anything whether it’s a gun or suppressor purchase or a transfer. I’ve bought several nfa items thru them as well and they make the process easy. Anytime I have a gunsmithing issue I can drop it off and be assured that they’ll take care of it in a timely manner. Can’t say enough good things about their great customer service.

Justin and his guys knocked it out of the park with my cerakote work, made my Uzi receiver match perfectly with the original parkerized parts. Shoutout to Jose for the recommendation of the color and taking the time to make sure it would turn out just right. They were super friendly and know their stuff!

Barrett’s Outdoors is a fantastic shop if you are a gun enthusiast. Absolutely the most knowledgeable personal of any gun related store I’ve been in. And I’ve been in dozens in my pile of years. They took so much time showing I and a few guys in my family around and explaining all of the possible setups and modifications one could do with the AR platform. Scopes, red dots, mmr, cans, triggers, uppers, lowers you name it, they explained it. And they have the personal experience to back it up.
