Woodbury Shooting Range

Fire the people supposedly working here and replace them with others willing and able to actually do the job they are paid for. Nobody ever answers the phone here and information on their message and website is outdated. Drove an hour to get here only to discover it’s closed for law enforcement training.

Archery range is a joke. They haven’t updated the targets in over 10 years. The targets are falling apart and your arrow almost goes completely through them. The state receives millions of dollars a year and can’t even bother to spend a few thousand to fix up one of the only local archery courses around.

So I purchased a new handgun and wanted to sight it in. We found this shooting range online and found out we needed to purchase a permit. So we go to rural king where everything goes fine. We drive all the way out to this place just to find it's closed. Google says it's open all the websites say it's open. Hell even rural king thought they were open. Do not give the state your money. They are already getting paid tax dollars to do their jobs. The least they can do is update their information so people don't waste their time and money. This is a joke. And judging by the other reviews the people running it sound disrespectful anyway. Others may have a better experience and may have known it was closed during the winter. But this is 2025 not everyone knows everything by word of mouth. UPDATE YOUR INFO! Oh and the range does look really nice from the outside. Couldn't tell you what it's like on the inside.
