Holly Shelter Shooting Range

My family and I absolutely love Holly Shelter Range!!! It is the only range in the area that allows youngsters to learn and practice firearms. A couple of weeks ago, I took my 9 year old to shoot .22 Sig. We had bad ammo with us that day, that kept jamming the gun… Imagine my frustration!! 😮‍💨 Jay, one of the RSOs quickly stepped in and saved the range day for both my son and I. All RSOs that work there are amazing people! Professional, knowledgeable and SUPER NICE!! Always helpful and ready to answer any questions you might have! When they opened the shotgun range to shoot clay targets, Tracy, another RSO helped our older son learn the shotgun! He spent time with us and shared his knowledge! It is always a pleasure to see the ladies working in the front office as well! If you’re new to the range they will take time to explain everything! We LOVE hanging out at Holly Shelter Range! Best place EVER! ❤️

Was having a great time at the range with my family until they changed range officers and Litta took over. Right away she started yelling at people and making everyone uncomfortable. Numerous people made comments and she was over the top. She perhaps with attempting to be funny, but it was very obnoxious. So much so that my family did not want to stay any longer. If I go to this range again and she is there, I will go to a different part of the range. You will understand when you meet her. She needs to get a different job. Everyone else was great!

I'm giving this place a 4 because of the RS0, Litta. When we first arrived, there was a male RSO who was great, very nice and professional. After about an hour Litta took over and she was HORRID. She was constantly yelling at people and talking down to us for the slightest things. I understand that you have to run a tight ship at gun ranges, but she was overboard. I eventually went back to my car while my family finished shooting.

Excellent 5 stand shotgun range and the pistol, rifle and archery ranges looked well designed and safe.

Very nice range and has lots of targets for the archery guys.
