Gunrunners Ranch Outdoor Shooting Range

An outdoor range with multiple pistol bays, rifle bays, and shotgun bays. Pistol goes up to 50 yards. Rifle goes past 200 yards. Im not a shotgun guy but they do have an area for that. You can buy ammo onsite. There is a bathroom with ac and heat for members. There is also carts to help you get around even though you won't really need it as the ranges are a short walk. The range is clean. The owner is very respectful, knowledgeable, and ambitious. There is going to be more coming to the ranch in terms of amenities and more different types of ranges. The range is already nice but once those other amenities come in the employees might have to kick you out lol. Great place to relax and shoot. Thank you Gunrunners ranch.

This is an incredible place for shooters of all experience levels -- there are endless opportunities to shoot the entire arsenal, and simultaneously slow down to enjoy the outdoors. Shawn and team have created a first class range within a quick drive of RDU. It's one of those special places that you almost don't want to tell people about, but just can't help doing so. Check them, and Carolina Gun Runners out. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice place, the staff are well knowledged, I was in need of a little instruction and it was openly provided without judgement. Safety was always first Priority. Rules and regulations were provided Once we were on the range. Very well done.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I are new to pistols and benefited greatly from the range officer's guidance and knowledge. Even more importantly, we always felt safe, welcomed, respected, and were able to proceed at a pace that was comfortable to us. All areas of the facility (ranges, cafe, store, classroom, bathrooms and group event area) were very well maintained. We highly recommend Distinguished Pistol!

First time shooting at an outdoor range and I loved it! The owners are knowledgeable and they don’t mind helping you out when needed. Makes you feel comfortable. They have a cafe, cigars, wine, a little bench press set on one of the porches to get a quick workout in and other perks if you become a member so that’s what my group did! Check them out.
