A beautiful, sunny day with good friends shooting clay targets, enjoying the pistol range snd finishing with a delicious lunch in the Tombstone restaurant and bar. Vic and Mike at the tactical range were extremely helpful. All the staff are well trained and provided timely and safe instruction and advice. The well appointed main facility is comfortable and super clean. Prison is well stocked with high quality firearms. A great opportunity to rent before you buy at Scantum. I have shot clays all over the US and Scotland. Finest shooting venue I have ever attended. Great job Scantum 1791.
Used the tactical range Thursday. Mike was RSO and I have to say he was a big help. I can tell he really likes his job and takes pride in running the range. He had some tips to share as well.
Spent some time at the tactical range with Mike yesterday morning and he was so helpful and informative. Truly appreciate all of his help. Looking forward continued shooting with him to improve my long distance accuracy!!
This place is Absolutely Amazing! Thank you Karen for the tour. Lunch was out of this world and I cannot wait to go utilize the ranges. Also, super excited for the conceal carry class. Love this place!
We had an amazing experience at Sanctum 1791! The facility was clean, well-organized, and safe. We wanted to give a huge thank you to AARON!!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great range and excellent service!
I really enjoy Sanctum 1791. It boasts excellent facilities, including long-range rifle lanes, pistol areas, and clay target courses, suitable for shooters of all levels. The bar and restaurant add a nice touch, offering a great selection of food and drinks to unwind with after shooting. The staff and instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcome. I also appreciate the variety of events they host—they have competitive shoots, laid-back social events, and training sessions to help improve skills.
Great day on the tactical range with my boys. Shout out to our RSO Gordy for making it a first class experience.
I see a lot of reviews from guests, people taking tours, or reviews before the club opened but here is a review from a former member of this club. This first part might not be their fault due to liability issues that I didn't consider before joining. If you're an experienced shooter or a veteran, you will not like this place. There are so many rules and you have one to two range officers standing over your shoulder the entire time. Your experience is incredibly micromanaged. You end up having to move around like a robot to not have them run up to you. If your weapon is empty, with the slide locked to the rear, and you hold it at your side pointing down at the ground, they are going to tell you that's against the rules. Good luck doing any drills. What makes your experience on the range even worse, and this is most definitely managements fault, is if you get an absolutely rude range officer (Mike). I was using a particular bay area but when he showed up, he decided he was going to start timing himself (while on the clock) and now I can't use the area. I'm the paying member and I got pushed out. Why would they let employees use the bays while working and while a member is using them! This was before he decided to approach me with a level of disrespect and unprofessionalism I haven't experienced since the military. I had two bad experiences with him and when I notified management, I got no response. After weeks of follow up, the end result was just to cancel my membership. This just showed me that employees can be aggressive and talk to members however they want and you as a member are nothing. They got your deposit and that's all they care about. You don't get your deposit back, so if you're unhappy, oh well. They call themselves a country club but members of a country club are treated with respect from the club's employees. That's not the case here. The club will also nickel and dime you for everything. You have to buy the cardboard backing, you have to buy paper targets, if you want more space in a bay and schedule two spots next to each other, you have to pay for that. You would think for this much money, you would be provided a least a paper target but no. This was single handedly the biggest waste of money and I regret it so much. Don't make the same mistake I did. It's so crazy to think this was the worst experience I have had at a range and it cost so much money. If you have a bad experience at any other range, at least it didn't cost much. I wish I could give it zero stars. Hopefully this review helps others stay clear of this place.
We visited Sanctum 1791 for the first time last week. Coordinated dinner at Tombstone last Friday evening, thank you Taylor and Lauren! Dinner was delicious! We joined as members on Monday, yesterday. Love the facilities and are very excited new members. Semper Fi, Keith
