Came for the first time. Great experience. As soon as I pulled in to the parking lot, Erich, the RSO on duty, greeted us professionally and got us familiar with the range. He was so courteous, respectful and patient. Even helped us get our rounds on target with his advice. Cant say enough good things about this guy. Will be back for sure and look forward to it. Well run, great facility and extremely safe. What more can you ask for?!

Fantastic public range. One of the best I've ever been to. They have a short range (primarily pistols but you can use for rifles too) and a long range (25, 50, and 100 yd options) with very well built facilities. The long/rifle range has steel guards to protect against errant shots going high (deflects rounds back to ground rather than allowing them to soar over the targets or hill behind). Each booth has its own target stand and a "barrel" that your are shooting through to dampen sound. The benches are comfortable and well built and are covered to shield from sun or rain. Booths are sufficiently spaced out - unlike most ranges that crowd more people side by side. The range is overseen by a range safety officer (RSO). Two were on shift while we were there (rotating one at a time between the short and longe ranges), and they were friendly, helpful, and by-the-book with safety (which is a very good thing). They have "range hot" and "range cold" protocol. When the range is cold, no one is permitted to step past a blue line (spaced back from the firing benches), all weapons must be down and a "CHAMBER EMPTY" flag inserted so the RSO can see easily that your weapon is unloaded and unchambered, and you can go down range to set up or remove targets. When the range is hot, you may then touch your weapons, load and fire them, pack or unpack them, and no one is allowed down range (for obvious reasons). The facilities were in excellent condition. Port-a-pottie style restrooms were available. And the staff were fantastic. All for free!! You honestly can not beat this. I'd give them 10 stars if it were an option.

Great first time experience for my girlfriend and I visiting from out of town. Well kept range that focuses on safety but also lets you have a little bit of space.

I've been visiting for about six months, usually on weekends. An incredible public resource. Super friendly range safety folks, consistently applied safety protocols. Great mix of old and young users, often sharing their experiences.

Great visit. Nice place. Great gentleman that helped me out with sighting 2 of my rifles. 1st time going, but definitely not the last. Had a good experience. I highly recommend.
