ALWAYS love training with these great guys! The information and training is presented by folks you have "been there and done that." The training environment is safe and friendly and Kevin and his staff encourage you to challenge yourself and grow. It's not easy, but it's valuable.

I just completed the Defensive Pistol Course and loved it! It was my first formal class instruction in firearm use (I have had privates previously). Although fit and strong I was initially worried that at 65 I would not be able to keep up with the other students - which was NOT the case at all. Kevin is an excellent instructor - clear and concise with instructions - providing good examples and analogies that I could easily visualize. It was exactly what I was looking for - this is a serious endeavor for those that want to really learn and I would encourage ANYONE who is a responsible gun owner to take this course. I learned so much in those 2 days and was proud of my noticeable improvement at the end of Day 2. I am repeating this course in the near future and looking into other courses on offer. An added bonus: Kevin is a remarkable leader: no-nonsense yet flexible, serious about the work at hand yet maintaining a witty, biting sense of humor! Highly recommended!!

Second class this past weekend and again it was excellent. I really appreciated the extra time the instructors spent with me during this class. Would highly recommend Blue Ridge Marksmanship.

The course I went through was very well put together, clearly presented and improved my knowledge as a gun owner. The instructor was knowledgeable and professional and made sure to facilitate a good learning environment in the classroom and a safe environment on the range with the other students. I'll for sure consider more courses in the future.

Attended one of their firearms classes and Randy and Andy were great. They are very knowledgeable on the course and everything it entails.

Randy and Andy are a great team. Both kind and helpful as I struggled with my grip on a new gun. The drills were varied and interesting and I will use them going forward. Since I live near Gatlinburg I will continue my practicing and training nearer to my home, but I will recommend your program to folks who live on the “other side of the mountains”.

Myself and my wife completed the concealed carry class yesterday I have been around firearms since I was very young. I went into that class feeling like I knew a lot, but I left knowing I learned a lot they helped me correct my posture and my grip on my Weapon both instructors were very kind but firm. They were both very informative. My wife and myself have agreed. We will definitely return to Blue Ridge marksmanship for further training. They were very honest upfront and trustworthy, and we greatly appreciate that level of hospitality, especially in the times that we are living in. I spoke to other courses on the phone before selecting this one. And I can tell you that some of the others just by the way they talked I wanted no part of them. I am highly satisfied with my choice and I will definitely return for further training and I would recommend anyone reading This to do the same the environment is perfect the Instructors know what the hell they’re talking about if you have soft feelings, stay home but if you want to learn and better yourself This is the place you need to be! Leave your feelings in the car and go in open minded and ready to learn! You will leave here a safer citizen for you and everyone around you! They are fantastic! PS the part about the feelings is not saying they are going to offend you They will not purposely offend you, but they will be brutally honest with you and if you’re going to handle and carry a firearm, someone needs to be brutally honest with you Your job as an armed citizen is to stop the problem, not be the problem or become The problem! Again, I cannot express enough how much I appreciate these guys and what they done for me yesterday and my wife as well. They were very respectful, but firm with the both of As well as everyone else, I was a little nervous about walking on to the range with a bunch of strangers who were holding firearms. It took about 30 seconds for them to Eliminate that fear for me they Observant of everything and everyone going on the instructions were very clear I realize very quickly that they had it under control and I just needed to focus on me and my weapon! I hope you come see these guys and I hope you have a good time and I hope you learn as much as WE DID!!! Very informative very educational very very safe place to be and train!!!!!

Best instructor ever!!! I’m not a traditional learner, have never responded well to textbook-based instruction. Randy effectively communicated complex legal concepts by relating them to real-life scenarios, making them more accessible and relatable. Additionally, I had purchased a Glock 9 because of the ratings, but my small hands made it difficult to grip comfortably. Despite my fiancée's efforts to assist me, I struggled until Randy took the time to help me become comfortable with my firearm. Upon leaving, I felt confident in my marksmanship skills. I will definitely return for future courses. Also beautiful 🤩 place easy to find. Randy made an 8.5 hour class full more like 4-5hours definitely not a dull moment.
