Had a great time at Gun For Hire! Betsy was an awesome instructor—super patient, clear, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable. Highly recommend her if you’re new or just want a confidence boost!

Enrique was an amazing firearm instructor! He’s extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and he made the whole session both fun and informative. We had an absolute blast—highly recommend!

First in short..these people make you feel so comfortable. No matter who you are or where you come from , these guys are dedicated to making sure everyone who comes here is welcomed. Im a first time owner of a firearm and they were so cool with me. John at the store was so patience and knowledgeable. Helped me navigate what I needed and even afterwards is on top of question I might have. 2nd.. I took the private beginners class. So worth paying the extra for that one on one time. My instructor was Jim Y.. hes a no nonsense guy. Straight to the point and immediately helps you recognize your strengths and is on top of any weakness that you may have. Tony Urena is stand up guy, who will answer all your questions he even came to me as I was training with Jim and shook my hand and asked how I was doing. Afterwards i went and used their range. They got guys watching and making sure youre good. Let them help you!! The people here are stand up individuals with real manners and courtesy. I plan on taking more private and regular classes here in the future. In other words.. Relax and walk in..youre in the right place..

Unfortunately I’m gunna have to complain about today’s experience. This is not my first time at guns for hire. Knowing the owner and owners father it was disappointing to experience the unprofessional behavior from a staff member there. Also super over priced for only renting protective gear and 2 boxes of amo since I was already bringing my own. Lastly it was my son’s birthday. Definitely disappointed.

I just want to thank Shane the Gunsmith who is an excellent Gunsmith which is only surpassed by his amazing customer service. I took my Canik Mete 9 Holosun green dot sight to get it zeroed in. He actually zeroed my sight to 15 yards which also works on 10 yards, which took him about 10 minutes. He then stated that he really didn't have to do much to get it Zeroed in and had the cashier refund the money I had paid for the service. I tried giving him a tip, but he respectfully declined it and said to please put it away because he won't take it. Shane is truly an asset at Gun For Hire and I really appreciated it his assistance. I also had a pleasant conversation with some of the guys at the rental section. AAAA++++++++++

Imagine paying 500$ for a jammed gun….. and then they don’t switch it for you and additionally the 10 mins that we kept going back and forth to fix the gun he didn’t re compensate us! Very upset I have never had this experience….

Love this range, it is probably my favorite in New Jersey. Very clean, safe, and professional. Range instructor Sameh is fantastic, helpful, very informative and very kind. Highly recommend
