Not a bad place to practice with a rimfire rifle and shoot skeet, it would be nice to if we could use small caliber center fire rifles as well but that what it is. I will say that the people use the range and state fish and game keep the place clean.
Looks ok very open area not many people there
Good place for zeroing your rifle and shotguns and plinking. rifle range is only 100 yards but still good. Be aware of some people that are bothered by an ar15 even though it's a 22. Caliber
I shoot my crossbow here. Always a spot, never have to wait
Hello, I go here often because it is close to my home. Nice of the state to set up a place like this considering what we pay for hunting and fishing licenses. My biggest complaint is that they have signs everywhere, saying to keep it clean and the firearms you can use here. Here is the problem there is not one trash can to be found and no one polices the place. Therefore, people shoot whatever they want including high power rifles and handguns. For what we are paying in hunting and fishing license fees they could at least provide a few 50 gallon trash cans and maybe one port-a-potty.
Not Bad
I've been going to this range for years. Rarely is it busy. The only issue is some people don't clean up after they use it.
Great place to go plinking with the family. Only downside is all the trash people leave behind, and when you have idiots not following the rules. However that's when it's our responsibility as responsible firearm owners to speak up against the ones not following the simple rules. Otherwise we could lose our only free shooting range.
