BASE Firearms and Training

Had my CCW renewal class today with Ira at Base firearms and training. What an outstanding and knowledgeable individual. He made the class interesting without being dry and boring. He's also a pretty funny guy. Loved the class and highly recommend his services for all your firearm needs.

My husband and I got to spend the day with Ira Labarge at BASE Firearms and Training yesterday. Whether you're looking to renew your CCW or advance your self defense skills; Ira is very professional with extensive military and law enforcement training. He's also able to help you with all of your gun and ammo buying needs. We are starting to plan a 3 day wilderness excursion with him for next summer!! (He does it all). I've been shooting for about 15 years, but don't get out enough and am constantly using different weapons, never really getting as comfortable as I'd like to be with any of them. I already feel more comfortable in my handling, as well as my understanding of the laws, and feel more confident that if I ever need to defend my business, home or persons... I'll be ready!

Real pleasure learning from Ira & shooting some of their awesome collection! He took me and some friends to the range for my birthday and we had a great time. Safe & fun! Thanks again Ira & thank you for your service!

Highly rated, have had 2 sessions with them and both times very friendly, easy to book with and made both experiences even more enjoyable then expected. Didn't rush, explained everything well and tailored both experiences to our experience levels and comfort levels. Would recommend to anyone

We had a fantastic experience with Base Firearms and Training! The four of us were mostly first-timers when it comes to firearms, and Tim and Ira made us feel completely safe and confident the entire time. The training was professional, informative, and very hands-on. The range is set up on BLM land, which gave it an open, natural feel while still being well-organized and secure. Tim and Ira were patient, knowledgeable, and made sure we were comfortable and safe every step of the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn or just have a fun, safe day at the range!

Me, my wife and son spent a great couple of hours with Ira shooting some firearms. Being from the UK this was totally foreign to us but Ira put us all totally at ease and we all felt totally safe. It was such a blast (literally) and it was an experience none of us will ever forget. Ira is such a friendly and nice guy and it was a pleasure to spend a couple of hours in his company.

Excellent training. None of us had ever shot a gun. Walked in knowing nothing about guns, walked away feeling confident in our ability to safely handle and shoot firearms. Highly recommend!

Incredible Experience with BASE Firearms and Training. Just like the reviews said, Ira is a great instructor and human being. My wife learned a ton on how to protect and handle herself. She was grinning ear to ear after. I have experience, but Ira taught me a refresher as well. He had a wide selection and really made it so enjoyable with his respectful, personable and great personality. It's also great he is very experienced serving in the military, SWAT and local police. You can tell Ira is so passionate about helping others and we would highly recommend BASE when you're in the area.
