very nice place! no staff, or store, but it's was really fun, and safe!
Awful experience. 1000 year old range officer yelling at everyone for everything cant shoot more than one round at a time no bursts or quick shooting or you'll be screamed at and thrown out.
Every time I come here, there’s always some issue. I think the public side is fine. Pay to play. Days/hours/price/access, all good. But every time I want to shoot the 600yd range, you have to be a member and deal with the caretaker. If I was from Missoula, it’d be mehh, who cares. But I drive from Hamilton and blow off a whole day to be turned around? You need to do what your website says you’re going to do. I’m not asking for more. I just want what you said you’d do. Imagine if we violate one of your 7,000 signs you have posted everywhere you look…we get flamed! Hold your end of the bargain!!
I went shooting here when I did go I was shooting then I got kicked out because my "gun" was apparently full auto when it just had a g flex trigger on it.
While the location is good. My last 2 visits, is observed the range manager talk down at and belittle 2 different guests that were not doing anything wrong.
The owner's wife was rude and yelled at my driver when he dropped me off for blocking the road despite nobody else behind us. Then, when I went to shoot, she told me I wasn’t welcome to shoot my rifle since hunters were sighting in their rifles for elk season, even though I just wanted to sight my rifle as well, and there had been no posted rules against this, and there were only two other people. I spent 30 minutes coming here just to be turned away for what seemed like an excuse. Please stay away from this place and don’t give them your money. They are rude and will get aggressive with you over nothing.
Great range! Was a little apprehensive after reading some terrible reviews but my friend I had zero issues. RSO was super nice. Bring $5 dollar bills or smaller to pay if you’re not a member and bring a staple gun. Smallest denomination we had was a $20 but we ran into the RSO and she was able to break it for us.
