Riverbreaks Conservation Area Shooting Range

Absolutely amazing and quiet place to scope in your rifle. Unlike the overcrowded ones that have been over run with unsafe conditions

Came up here on a whim over the weekend since Pigeon Hill was closed. We weren’t the only ones with this idea, the range was pretty packed on a Sunday afternoon. Nice range, the bathroom is much better maintained than pigeon hill. My only complaint is that there were no burms between the lanes. That’s the nice thing about Pigeon Hill. Beware, we had a Conservation Agent show up and write almost everyone a ticket for different things, most of them petty stuff that should have been a warning. Seems as if he was preying on all the extra people coming up because of Pigeon Hill being closed.

A very nice consideration area. The area is well maintained. It doesn't catch a lot of pressure from the public which is one reason it stays decent. I think almost always see wildlife when I go here. Deer are common and I've seen turkey also. Some nice birding is available also. A nice getaway from the city.
