Some friends and I purchased from Total Firearms at the Novi gun show this past weekend. I believe it was the owner and one of his associates that I had the pleasure of doing business with. They were both very knowledgeable and completely approachable. Most importantly, I felt that they were incredibly honorable people. Whatever they sold me, they wanted to make sure I understood some of the upgrades and calibration and they were not at all rushing through the process even though I had already purchased the firearm at that point. Their pricing was excellent and, honestly, they could have taken advantage of the fact that what I bought is rare find. He knew I wanted that particular piece since that was all I asked to see and I asked for it in name, and he undoubtedly knew that no one else had that item at the show. He did not take advantage of that at all and the price he gave me was below market average. Overall, this is a dealer with great integrity, and I highly recommend them.
Great people, great service and excellent customer service.
Purchased my second handgun here. Picked up their range rental taurus judge in .410/45lc this is my honest opinion. The gentleman that helped me was a Lil young, didnt really know much about the firearms he was showing. But in my eyes as a consumer/ and someone who is in customer service. He was more approachable then the guy carrying the custom glock with the hat. Dude walks and acts like hes got a stick up his you know where. I like the fact they gave me a hr of range time and even allowed me to shoot a couple of .410 shot on the range. The range instructor was phenomenal! Very informative, very pleased with my interaction on thw range. I would come back to make another purchase but definitely stay clear of the dude who didnt want to leave the computer.
Bought a used reproduction M1A1 Thompson from them at a local gun show. It had lots of feeding issues. They took it in and had it shipped back to Auto Ordinance for repairs free of charge.
decent selection of fishing tackle and bait. couldn't find all I was looking for but found some substitutions. prices seemed on par for a non-discount store. worms were fresh and lively. staff was friendly.
Today, my spouse and I were riding past Total Firearms Gun Store and decided to stop and take a look inside. Since we had the kids with us, we didn’t want to bring them into the store, so my spouse went in first to browse while I stayed in the car. He saw a gun he was interested in but felt the price might be a little high. He came back to the car, told me about it, and asked me to go in and ask some questions while he stayed with the kids. As soon as I walked in, I felt I was being racially profiled. The greeting I received was a casual, “wassup,” — not in a professional or respectful tone, but more like I was bothering them. I told the employee that my spouse had just come in and looked at a gun and asked if I could get more information on it. Right away, the man told me he wouldn’t be selling or showing me any gun because my man sent me in to buy it for him. I asked him, even if we both have valid gun permits, we can’t purchase or ask about a firearm? He didn’t offer to show me anything else. No interest, no professionalism, no courtesy.
trash, terrible service. disrespectful employees and beyond cocky. range 517 is wayyy better.
