Barracks 616

Absolutely delightful experience purchasing my first pistol here. I had no idea what I needed or wanted, and they set me up with a fantastic bag of goodies with utmost kindness and professionalism. Very excited to be visiting their range regularly.

Great range! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The facility is neat, clean, and well-maintained with excellent lighting throughout. I was especially impressed with the exhaust system—hands down the best I’ve experienced. Highly recommend!

I've been a member with Barracks for almost 3 years now. They sold me my first gun, gave me pointers as I started coming in regularly, and even introduced me to competitive shooting via USPSA/Barracks 616 Practical shooting league. There's no question, if you're looking to grow and become a part of a community of like minded professionals, this is a place you can hang your hat. Take their classes, get to know the staff, and get introduced to the shooting community in a new way! It's worth it ;)

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with Barracks 616 (special shout out to Joey S). I have had plenty of experience with shooting and handling firearms in the past, but decided on a whim to stop here to purchase my first EDC handgun. To say these guys hold a wealth of knowledge would be a gross understatement of the employees of Barracks 616. I explained a rough idea of what I was looking for, listed a few handguns I had some interest in, and within 20 minutes I had a comprehensive list of options, none of which felt like they were presented in an attempt to upsell, and most of which I was able to demo right on their range downstairs. While I dealt mostly with Joey 1 on 1 (seriously such a helpful dude, give this guy a raise), I also had 2 or 3 other employees stop over to provide their insights and opinions based on their personal experiences. Every single person I encountered was incredibly friendly and eager to help. I can confidently say I will be a returning customer and would be happy to recommend them to anybody I know.
