American Firearms School

I signed up for an hour of personal instruction time. Nathan was my instructor and did an excellent job teaching me the basics as well as helping me fine tune my aim. He answered any questions I had. This was a great experience and I will definitely return to practice some more!

I took the learn to shoot course with Joe. As someone who has never picked up a gun let alone know much about them, he really did a great job explaining everything and really appreciate the way he corrected me on my form and my grip it was super helpful. He was an excellent instructor very knowledgeable and funny and I plan to return for another lesson with him in the future.

I was introduced to this place by a friend, and I’m so glad I gave it a try—it's quickly become one of my favorite new hobbies. I brought my cousin along last Friday, and we both had an incredible time. Jim, Nate, and the entire team were outstanding. They explained everything clearly, made us feel welcome, and created an experience that was both fun and informative. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be recommending this spot to friends, family, and co-workers—especially those visiting the state. If you’re looking for something new and memorable, this is it.

I really like this range — great location, solid facility, and overall a good setup. My one complaint is that some of the RSOs are a bit neck breathe-y.

once was a good place to shoot. now that Edd is gone they have new staff that talks down to you like you don't know what your doing. For example I came in with my plate carrier and this overweight short guy that looks like he's in his late 50s says "oh you bought the swimmer's cut plates so you did something right. I could just feel the hate as I pulled out my ops core ballistic helmet lol. While I was on the range an underweight dark skinned "range officer" was talking garbage about my shooting or something I did and I hear a bunch of laughing directly behind me and i turn around and he clears like ants. When I herd all the laughing I assumed he pulled up his checking account on his phone. I'm just a guy that enjoys shooting a couple times a year. Anyway i will be traveling an extra 30 mins to another range so I don't have to deal with any clowns when I go shooting. The craziest part of my visit was i bought 7.62x39 HP dirt cheap ammo and they told me i couldn't use it there when i used the same ammo there in march lol. We miss you Edd that place isn't the same without you.

Me and some colleagues booked and attended the introductory course, followed by some range time. Everything, from the safety aspect, to the friendly and knowledgeable instructors, was impeccable. Nate, our introductory course instructor, did an outstanding job and some of the novice shooters in the group made the decision to stay for some additional range time as a result. Overall, we are definitely planning to come back, and I look forward to attending more advanced courses in the future.

Me and my friends took the training course at AFS. John was our instructor. We all had a lot of fun, and John was very helpful and patient. I will definitely visit again
