Taylorsville Lake WMA Shooting Range

Love having a free range to go to. Everyone there was nice and l love not having a range master. I will say that shooting through the tube did seem to affect my POI, depending which pet of my target I was aiming for. So if you are wanting to do some precision shooting, under 100 yards, keep that in mind.

State gives people a place to shoot their guns and people won't even clean up after their selfs

Great 100yd range, with adjustability to 25 and 50yds. Tubes are a bit weird to get used to, but with no range officer on duty it's a safety feature I can live with. I've used it a couple times now to zero my rifle scope, but be aware: no pistols allowed.

Not worth going to. Removing the tubes and high level of restrictions would make it a much better range.

Peaceful range , you can only sight in At 25 -100 yards Rifle only . Absolutely no shotgun or pistol shooting here , and it’s clean and free , please tidy after you shoot take all range amenities that you will need , no shop around to buy any

Can't ever beat a free outdoor shooting range! Usually no one there so you have it to yourself, pay attention when you get close, its easy to pass.Just make sure to take targets and a couple of thumb tacks with you to hang them (please cleanup after yourself so they don't close it, not that its ever dirty, just can see it happening)

Like to spend leasure time , watching the boats and, going on at the marina, dock
