Hull Shooting Range Mahaska County

A great outdoor range.

This was the first time shooting at Hull Shooting Range. There were two other shooters there but they left shortly after I got there so I had the entire range to myself. It’s a nice range but shooting g through the tunnels is crazy loud with an AR-15 pistol! I plan on bringing the Mrs. Back for some couples trigger time.

It's a good free outdoor range. I would love to see a 200-yard range or even a 1000-yard lane or two. I wish the parking was a bit closer, and maybe some sort of bathroom facilities would be nice, along with some sort of shade to get out of the hot sun.

Awesome range. Rifle max is 100 yards. There is an area for rifle that can set up targets at 15 yards, 25 yards and 60 yards. There is one area for pistols only and a big open area for trap shooting with a shotgun. The only negative thing, which is for me personally is having to carry everything I need. The parking area to the first shooting area is around 100 yards. Just a pain when I bring alot of stuff and have to make multiple trips. lol

Its come a long way its basic has tables gun rests target 100 yard range and a 50 yard range clay pigeon spot doesnt provide anything for clay pigeons other than an open area

Really good for a public range.
