I absolutely enjoyed shooting here. The staff were great and the range is awesome. I highly recommend CrossRoads, and will be going back very soon.
So it starts with wanting to buy a firearm with my dad.. went in there.. the “GM” after not attending us for 10-15 minutes come up to us and said “buying a gun is not a team sport”. My dad’s lack of English was questioned by the “GM” making comments that made us feel discriminated. Would not recommend to anyone wanting to buy their first firearm or any firearm..
Kraig was a fantastic teacher. I knew next to nothing and was so nervous I was practically shaking when I arrived. He calmed my nerves and taught me all the basics I needed to know. I ended the class with confidence in using my firearm. He was knowledgeable and compassionate with his lessons. I could not have asked for anything more for my introduction to firearms. I would not hesitate to take any course from him.
Completed the training STOP the BLEED - Basic Field Trauma, with Instructor Jonas. Jonas knows his stuff, having both practical experience at his work, and all of the training and certifications he has completed. The course was informative, well presented, and practical. I recommend this course to anyone. Understanding the risk of shooting sports may interest you in this class, but it is also practical for other unexpected traumatic situations.
As newer firearms owners, this is by far the best place to go as a newbie wanting to learn and not feel judged for asking questions. Keith is our guy here who helped us get set up with the right firearms for our safety needs. They have an amazing range and honestly as someone that wanted to just get something for safety and not really thinking about what to get or training - Keith saved us from making poor decisions on sub par hand gun choices from a national chain. And as someone having not shot in quite some time before coming here, they even gave us a quick overview and safety demo to help us get comfortable. We ended up renting for quite some time to test out different firearms to find the best fit for us - something I’d never thought of when considering a purchase initially due to our changing world. Crossroads has great classes, amazing customer service and support and honestly changed my perception on firearm shops/ranges. For anyone looking to learn and wanting not to feel out of place, I would highly recommend making crossroads your first stop. We ended up getting a membership early on because we felt it was worthwhile with all the benefits. Additionally, I’ve never felt unsafe there in the range areas as they’ve got strict rules on types of ammo that can be used and protocols for when in the range area. Definitely stop out and talk to Keith and the team! They’ve all been pretty awesome. There are a range of rentals as well to figure out the best fit for you!
Very disappointed. Paid $58 for 3 of us on a lane, they checked my .223, and said it was "armour piercing" and wouldn't let me use it. After an hour and a half, we were told we had to step out and go to the BOTTOM of the waiting list to come back in. Next time I'll go somewhere that isn't afraid of my ammo.
I'm writing to express my frustration and disappointment. As a customer who has frequented this range for several years, I was shocked and quite inconvenienced when I was denied a lane rental on my last visit. Previously, I have rented lanes without issue on numerous occasions over the years. However, this time, I was informed by the desk staff that due to my "limited term" driver's license, I was no longer eligible to rent a lane. The employee mentioned a "2020's rule," but the explanation was unclear, leaving me confused as to why a policy that seemingly didn't apply to me before is now preventing me from rent a lane now. While I understand that businesses update their policies, it's incredibly frustrating to be a long-standing customer suddenly turned away without clear prior communication or a detailed explanation as to why my identification, which was acceptable for years, is now an issue. This abrupt change significantly impacted my planned activity and left me feeling undervalued as a returning patron. I hope the management will consider clarifying their policies more effectively to avoid similar situations for other customers who, like me, have been loyal to their establishment. It's truly a shame to have such a negative experience after all this time.
