Great first time experience at Panther Ridge Range. We reserved the 100 yard range and shoot house for $55/each for 3 shooters for the day. We started with a safety briefing with Jeremiah where we learned the range's SOPs and new gun safety rules we will continue to use in the future. The 100 yard range was super fun and we were able to do all the tactical drills we usually do including drawing from holster, rapid firing (bill drills are fun) moving and shooting, shooting behind barricades, setting up paper targets on stands, and shooting a variety of steel targets on-site. The shoot house is only for sims, airsoft, or blanks. We set up paper targets and used blanks w/ BFA to practice CQB. Will use sims/airsoft next time. Will definitely be back here at our new favorite range in Indiana!
Panther Ridge Gun Range & Training Center is hands down one of the best shooting facilities. The layout is fantastic — from pistol bays to a 600-yard rifle lane and even a shoot house for advanced drills. It’s clear a lot of thought and experience went into designing this place. Special shout-out to Jeremiah Barthold, the owner and lead instructor. His background in military training is obvious — he’s incredibly knowledgeable, clear, and patient with all skill levels. Whether you're brand new or experienced, you’ll walk away with new skills and more confidence. Highly recommend Panther Ridge if you’re serious about improving your skills in a safe, respectful, and well-run environment.
This place is a rare gem. The location is beautiful and set up in a way to accommodate a person new to firearms or a seasoned person looking to hone their skills. Jeremiah and Ken are extremely experienced and eager to teach just for the love of what they do. No gatekepping or undue judgement as well. We all start somewhere and you can never go wrong learning new things and putting in the work. I could go on and on...
Great range and a great teacher highly recommend checking these guys out for all your firearm related training needs.
Train weekly, stay sharp. Custom courses for everyone's personal needs. Great things are coming, be a part of it.
I attended a Go Ruck rifle class at this facility many years ago. Great for long range, suitable back stop, plenty of space.
I recently completed their all day Ridge Runner Assessment course and it was a fantastic experience. The facilities were great and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The course itself was well designed and gave me a lot of great information on where I could improve as well and areas of increased skill. The experience and knowledge of the individuals attending and staff was vast and I learned so much from these experienced individuals. Everything from CQB, long range precision, medical, and weapons handling. If you ever have a chance to do one of their classes or shoot at their range, I would highly recommend it.
I’ve been to the range several times and taken 2 courses. I enjoyed it, and learned a lot from the pistol course. It’s a nice location and very nice range. The owner and the instructors are very professional and very nice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for classes or open range.
Very friendly, knowledgeable Staff/Cadre. The property is beautiful, with constant improvements being made. It's a flat range format with 2 ranges, 100 and 600 meters respectfully. They also have a small shoot house to train with simulation devices like airsoft. I attended their Ridge Gunner event, and I feel like I got a good overview of the company. I would definitely return for training classes as I just bought a membership following yesterday's experience. They do offer training pistols and rifles for people who do not yet own firearms and want to experience it. In fact, one of the participants in Ridge Gunner used one of the training sets all day. It can be intimidating going to a new range or club. I would consider the culture here very healthy and welcoming. The staff is a 0 on the douchieness scale. I watched 4 different instructors very patiently jump in to concurrently train new and inexperienced shooters mixed in a group of varied experience levels. It's wasn't a " hey look at how much more I know" interaction rather, " I see you struggling, let me help you" attitude, and it was everything from basic pistol and rifle marksmanship to room crearing and long range marksmanship.
