American Shooters Clarksville

I have lived in Clarksville for 8 years now. I am from Louisville. I still find that I must go back across the river to take care of certain things, such as food stores.. and certain health issues...however I did not think I would have to go back to Louisville to shoot at a range over there, since this place is just right around the corner from where I live, but that seems to be the case. I was in the range a couple of weeks ago with my caregiver who wanted to sign up to shoot, no problem. I knew she would have to fill out the forms and watch some short film...ok no problem....but as I gave them my i.d. I was then told that it has been over two years since I was in last, now I will admit that I cannot find the time to go and shoot these days, I do not think however it has been that long.. so they said it has been 2022. Or something....so they wanted me to fill out the forms and yes watch the video as well......this is when I felt like. I was trash to them. They know who I am and that I have been in there before, yet I was like a newbie off the block.....also while I sat and watched the video I told my caregiver that I had changed my mind and was not going to shoot that day. And this is when one of the staff, there were only two that day. Reminded me to watch the film......I have seen all the video's I need to see nd have been shooting many years......I am not new......anyway this ordeal felt very awkward. And uncomfortable.....so we left after she finished her forms.....so it looks like I have yet another reason to go back to Louisville to shoot....very sad.....but I guess my money is not good enough here......

We shot there with rented guns and I found what I liked. I later bought a Glock. Staff is helpful and safety-conscious. I took a beginning class and enjoyed learning and shooting.

These guys are helpful and polite. Everyone I've dealt with seems professional. The range is pretty nice. Gets hot in there but being indoors with hundreds of tiny fireballs will do that to ya.

Went shooting here a couple times. Nice staff and clean range. Good rental guns too. Never had an issue with getting a lane or having to wait. Two gentleman working today on a Saturday were really nice guys.
