If you are a green card holder and want to purchase a firearm I would stay away from Range USA. They have a new policy where they make you wait 10+ days for an extra check. So the Illinois State Police background check is no longer sufficient enough for Range USA. They tie up your money and firearm for 10+ days even though your back round check with ISP cleared. Just a warning to potential buyers. A right delayed is a right denied.
We did a private shooting lesson. Ernie did a great job listening to our needs, providing information, and helping us get started on the path to reaching our goals. He made the experience very comfortable for us and even offered options to expand our involvement with local groups. We had a great experience and found the overall staff at this location to be friendlier and more welcoming than at other places.
2025 Great place for 2A crowd. I always enjoyed my time there. My rating applies to one liar working behind the scenes in the Millie department. I had a great discount on membership, for years, at Range USA, because of my membership with a national gun club. My c.c. got compromised in June of this year, so my credit union canceled my card in July. A new card would be sent in 5-10 days Range USA, despite my efforts and the efforts of one Range USA representative, canceled my membership and my discount. I guess my discount was too much. One rep, I spoke with, said that my discount would be maintained, but I see her words meant nothing, because in the end, someone took the opportunity and snatched it away. On a fixed income, range membership there is just not worth 6-7 hundred dollars a year, so I guess I'm done. 08-25 I responded to your many emails repeating that my only c.c. had been compromised, therefore I had to wait on a new one. Your eight emails, over the course of a few days, couldn't put a new credit card in my hands any faster. Other businesses that rely on my cards for membership or payment, after notification, simply placed my membership on hold until the new card was put in place, but I guess that practice is not a part of your customer support.
This is large range with a lot to choose from to fire but you might need a local to accompany you
