Took a personal training class with Dina. Very informative, she helped me to realize what I’m looking for in a firearm, give me some Great tips!
We’ve taken both private and basic lessons with Victor at the Hanover Range USA location, and the experience has been outstanding. He was incredibly patient with my partner and me, offering clear guidance and helpful tips throughout. In just two lessons, we’ve seen a huge improvement in our skills. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Customer service is out of this world!!! Good selection of firearms was our first time shooting at the range love that they are open until 9 PM. Definitely would come back.
It's a nice place, well kept, and feels modern, but maybe a little too clean, like a corporate chain store. The staff knew their stuff. They don't have those fancy digital distance things, just a switch to move the target. Prices seem fair.
Excellent range. The stalls are deep. You don't feel like the people in the next door stalls are encroaching on your space. A very clean range(s); there are two sets. A variety of targets are available for purchase. Rental firearms are available. Took the IL 16hr Conceal carry training with Mark Lane. This class had 12 people in it and he handled it fine. Very knowledgeable. So far, a great experience. Planning to do a membership.
Range USA in Hanover Park is my go-to range, especially for introducing first-time shooters. The rates are fair, the rental selection is solid, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, the staff is knowledgeable, approachable, and never pushy or intimidating—they make the experience comfortable for everyone, no matter their skill level. This is the perfect spot for both new shooters and seasoned enthusiasts. Always a great experience.
The class we took with Colin Carpenter at the Hanover Park, IL location was very accommodating for me and my adult sister who has special needs. Extremely knowledgeable and experienced instructor. Lots of good slides that he allowed us to snap pics of so we had the info available for review at home. Wise enough to give us good advice about how to practice gun handling and aiming at home most safely using snap caps (fake bullets). Did physical demonstration of slides to accommodate different learning styles, and had us practice using an easy-to-cock/rack EZ gun with a light trigger (for those of us with brittle arthritic fingers or smaller hands) and even honored our request to try out a revolver (no racking back necessary for weaker people with certain illnesses / some women / special needs community) with snap caps. Would highly recommend. Thanks for your help.
