The Northbrook Sports Club moved its facilities to a 735-acre site in Hainesville, Illinois, in 1987. This area is more rural, but is now surrounded by residential development that has occurred SINCE THE CLUB RELOCATED. So, people who live there, you chose this location to live in knowing the club was there... you don't get to complain... it's like people complaining about airport noise when literally built their house around it... get over it, or move somewhere else.
STOP IT ALREADY!! I can hear you all in my basement with maximum volume headphones. I'm over a mile away & I STILL can't escape the noise 24/7 these last 2 days no matter what. My pets just had to go through a whole week of fireworks when the hell do we ever get the right to a reasonably quiet day in our own neighborhood?!
Great place beautiful property great food nice staff
Best shooting grounds anywhere in area, one of the top in U.S. Been around Hainesville since 1987. Way before 99% of development nearby. Superb land conservators. Donators to various charitable organizations, both locally and nationally. Veteran supporters. Yet those who came to the area MUCH later, that didn't do their diligence and ultimately may have gotten shafted by faulty real estate professionals, constantly complain. 😂
Gooooooood morning, "sports" fans! It's Wednesday again, which means it's time for another loooooooog, 5-day stretch of noise pollution coming at you LIVE AND DIRECT from the Northbrook "Sports" Club. We'll be poppin', bangin', and blastin' our way into your homes from now until Sunday evening, so don't even think about touching that dial! Blammo! By every measure, the constant onslaught of gunfire audible in every direction for miles—both outside AND inside of homes, schools, churches, businesses, and forest preserves—is considered a public nuisance. However, because of a general provision in Title I of the Illinois Environmental Protection Act (415 ILCS 5/3.310) (previously numbered as 415 ILCS 5/3.25), gun ranges like the Northbrook Sports Club are granted full immunity in torturing thousands of residents with noise pollution on a daily basis. Members of this club do not care or consider that they are endangering your emotional health and well-being or reducing the quality of your environment. Illinois provision 415 ILCS 5/3.310 needs to be changed and this club needs to be shut down so its reign of terror can end and residents in nearby communities can finally enjoy so much as a walk outside without being suffocated by the merciless cacophony of shotgun fire. They were kicked out of Northbrook, and they will be kicked out of Hainesville.
Outstanding on all levels.
