GAT Guns

Gat guns is a great place to visit for the shooting range and they have a wide selection of fire arms as well. Everybody there was very nice and accommodating.

It would be five stars, but man that one manager in the black shirt does not know how to interact with humans. Acts like he hates his life or his job. I can even see the other coworkers get tense when he's working. Also their new website is buggy, but otherwise a fantastic place to visit

Over the past 5 years I have bought 5 guns from GAT, 3 of those guns I purchased 2 being pistols and one AR, I brought up to the gun smith to dial in my sights. Each time before I brought my firearm there I spoke with the gun smith who said no problem he can do it on the spot. Each time I was up there though they gave me hard times saying they can’t do it and I would have to come back in 2 or 3 days. One time the gun smith came out and said yeah I remember talking to you. Needless to say my shooting was off on all 3 guns I had dialed there, so I ordered some laser pointer caps and let me tell you just how off they were. I can’t believe I was even hitting the targets. Either the Gun smith is lying about dialing in sights or the store itself is lying about dialing in sights! Either way I would not recommend getting any sights dialed in there and I will not be buying more firearms from this store because of this breach of trust. which is a shame because I am a spender on firearms check the receipts!

I started going to GAT at the first location was in Hanover Park Then I started going to this location in 1989 when they moved the store to East Dundee. This will always be one of my favorite stores

Best dang Gun store in IL bar none! My home away from home! So many used options come in regularly. They also have the latest gun models that come out, if not the day of within that week!

A super friendly and knowledgeable staff that has. Great selection. They have a lot of magazines and attachments that I haven’t been able to find at other stores and I am definitely a repeat customer. Very competitive prices with a solid used gun section every time I go. The pistol and rifle ranges are fine and they allow rentals to try before you buy a gun. They also have a great taco truck that sits outside!

Absolutely LOVED the youth pistol class they put on once a month. Please please keep that going and bring your sons and daughters. We need to pass this on as much as we can. The instructor seriously found her passion in life and did a phenomenal job. My son said "10 out of 10"
