Shoshone County Public Shooting Range

Good free target shooting place. Follow rules and enjoy. Nice canopy to cover from rain or sun. Comfortable tables to shoot from. Even a bathroom is available. Thank you whoever made this free and user friendly.

Does the range "safety" dude have an ego problem? It would seem more appropriate to focus on PR and education instead of barking at people the moment he sees a minor infraction. And the AR he struts around with? That's certainly not enough- he definitely needs a revolver on each hip. The orange safety vest doesn't seem totally fair to color blind people; just my two cents. Additionally, the rule signs everywhere: it's cluttered which makes it confusing. My suggestion would be to have one large notice with basic rules spelled out in a more concise and coherent manner. Remember, no amount of rules will fix Stupid. Don't let the few rotten apples ruin a good thing for the majority.

The range would be a pleasure if the range safety officer wasn't a jerk with an over bloated sense of authority trotting around like a pompous peacock. It would be a lot more enjoyable if the range officer had a mind for education rather than authority.

Awesome range that is very well laid out and maintained. This is a great range that I will absolutely be coming back to.

Best range around! Beats anything between the Montana state line, and the Spokane area. Nice, we'll cared for facility. I've been going there for years.

Had a good time with the family. Its two nice ranges that are self regulated. All the people we met were polite folk and observed gun safety and respect.
