Independence Indoor Shooting

Great customer service back in the range. The army vet guy(sorry didn’t catch his name) was so incredibly nice and helpful with everything back there with helping me figure out the caliber I wanted while comparing pew pews

Independence has a really great indoor shooting range, for both, pistol and rifle target practice. Independence has a really wide variety of firearms to select from if your interested in purchasing

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with IIS. Our objective was to test hand guns for me. We want to make a well educated gun purchase that is not based solely on how a gun feels in my hand. I shot about 8 different hand guns to test their recoil/kick. Chris and Jeremy were very helpful in making recommendations for me to test. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about guns and helped us from making a very costly purchase because of his knowledge of the guns they rent and sell. He took the time to learn what was important for us which was a low maintenance, easy to clean, easy to know how to shoot gun that is heavy enough, but small enough to use as a defense gun at home or in my purse that also had a larger handle for my palm and as minimal kick back as possible. He also went out of his way to teach me how to hold the gun while loading and shooting. After his simple lesson my shot pattern significantly improved from widespread to nice small bunching. The RSO on duty, Gavin, was also very good at his job. He noticed my stance was completely wrong and wasn't gun shy (pun intended) to approach me and offer assistance. He was also very courteous about warning all shooters in the range that another customer was going to shoot a gun that was really, really loud. I chose to step out of the range and could still hear it with my ear plugs and on the other side of the cider block wall. So grateful for the warning to step outside of the room. Overall the experience was top notch and the service was above and beyond. I must also mention that it was an extremely busy day for being a Monday, but we felt like we were their most important customer. Again, went above and beyond. We will be returning as I got down to two guns, but after shooting for about 4 hours I was needing to step away and come back another day. I plan on testing them again and making a choice.
